Rail project with China considered Standard-gauge line to tie region together

       

        The cabinet will hear a proposal next week to instruct a joint project between the Thai and Chinese governments to expand a new standard-gauge rail line from Nong Khai in the Northeast to the southern border with Malaysia. The Thai government earlier said it objective is to invest together with China in a high-speed rail line from Suvarnabhumi Airport to Rayong on the Eastern Seaboard using Pattaya and Laem Chabang and a standard-gauge link from Kunming, southern China which would run through Vietnam and Laos before reaching Nong Khai. The standard-gauge line would furthermore connect with Malaysia and eventually Singapore. The segment between Nong Khai and the Malaysian border has been estimated about 300 billion baht. However, the two sides have not yet initiate the details of how the united venture would be established, how much investment capital would be needed or the risk that each country would hold in the project. If it is approved in principle, it would then be forwarded to parliament for approval as required by Article 190 of the Constitution.

 

....In my opinion, this project seems to be a good idea to me because expanding the rail line is great for the future economic. So people, exporting and shifting can be done more easily and at the lower cost. They said that the line will eventually reach Malaysia and Singapore, so our people can visits or take a trip there without using the plane, for the ones who can’t afford the plane’s price. The lower class might be very happy for this plan to happen. But they still don’t know the risk of the project so we have to wait.

           The Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) rice millers are joining hands rather than opposing in their bid to control the international rice trade but some cast doubts on whether the progress is in the best interest of farmers.  The ASEAN will proceed to keep its high status in the global rice trade with a decision to form rice millers' community, a new release co-operation that aims to strengthen production and stabilize the prices of rice exported from the bloc. The project announced in Bangkok which has strengthened the role of millers, a party in the middle of the rice production process, of the world's largest rice-exporting area. Two of the group's members, Thailand and Vietnam, also rank the biggest and second biggest rice exporters correspondingly. The other four members; Burma, Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos will only join the zero-tariff scheme in 2015. Farmers in the region including Thailand have fought poverty no matter how high rice prices are. 

 

          In my opinion, it is great the ASEAN rice millers are cooperating with each other to fight the rice trade crisis that becoming higher. We should be proud that Thailand, our homeland, one of the biggest rice exporters continuously and Japan is not mention here. There are also four new members involve with it, if you notice, they are countries that are near and have a good relationship with us.

.....In my opinion, sports are good things if we know win or lose and I think foreign players have a lot of qualities in themselves, but Thai players can't concentrate on themselves anymore. And this new proved that the self-esteem comes from within not from which teams you are on. The team that everybody thinks will surely win lost to the other team.  Also, practice makes perfect, soccer is a sport that needed practicing but not being too harsh on oneself or you will end up like Mario Balotelli which left on the sidelines because he has a knee to recover.

           The National Environment Board list of 11 harmful activities that will affect to health impact and environment.  Mr. Abhisit said he expected to see the ministry's directive on the harmful activities, which would be submitted to the cabinet for acknowledgement, soon. The revised list drew mixed reactions from environmentalists and industrialists. Industry Minister Chaiwuti Bannawat said two companies whose projects were suspended by an Administrative Court ruling last year would be affected by the list. PTT was the one of the company most affected by the court's order to suspend work until they met the requirements under Section67.

....I think we should begin to use or do it lower for earn money, although you do it just for your activities. However, It is influenced for our environment. These activities are the reason of global warming. Then global warming is affect to human and animals. We shouldn't blame anyone but you have to realize yourself first.

          The Natural Resources and Environment Ministry defended its plan to buy two new aircraft. The planned procurement did not relate with last week's helicopter crash in Nan because it was part of a tied-over budget from last year. The plan demanded from the ministry to buy a new six-seat, twin-engined at a cost of 248 million baht. The ministry required to make three payments for the helicopter, which will be used to survey marine national parks. The ministry also planned to buy a fixed-wing aircraft costing about 100 million baht. It worked the purchase plan out last year and received approval to go ahead. The fixed-wing aircraft with 10 seats could fly at low altitude to survey rare sea creatures and the aircraft also would not make a loud noise that would disturb marine life.

.......I think if the aircraft still works, the government should refuse because it still works and we should not extravagant with the thing that can be used. However, Thailand still needs a lot of money to contribute to another region. If we can safe, we should be do it for ours country and for the future.

          Even though Ananda Everingham has a significant role on acting and achieves his goal as an actor, but he still needs to complete his task of getting a work permits to stay in Thailand because his mother is from Laos and father from Australia. He used to rejected stage talk or anything that has to do with talking in public but now he turned to an expert on speaking in front of everyone. He had eliminated his fear and taking on more film productions and also said that he appreciates working behind the scenes more than being in front of the camera. He tries to work with both qualitative and quantitative assignments. His ongoing career is at the peak point right now with the newest movie “Insee-Daeng” or Red Eagle and he is looking forward to work with the directing part more in the future.

..... In my opinion, he has a lot of responsible in his role, and he is a good actor. Moreover, he has his goal to achieve, although he want to work behind the scenes. He not abandons the old role as an actor. He is a good person who manages himself very well for done in his job. An actor is appropriate for him.

          Abhisit Vejjajiva said that he hope the relationship issue between Cambodia and Thailand will get better after the resignation of the former Prime Minister, Thaksin Shinawatra, as an economic advisor. The subsequent from this is that Thailand will send back the Thai ambassador to Cambodia, just like Cambodia, it ready to return the envoy as soon as Thailand has done so. The reason for resignation said to be because Thaksin doesn’t have enough time to work properly as an adviser, while the government source somewhat said that it actually because he was force to resigned. Even that, the Thai foreign minister said that the Thai position on Prah Vihear temple remain the same. Furthermore, Thailand is always ready to resolve this conflict and bonded to the Cambodian.

..... I think Thaksin not involve with the relationships between Thailand and Combodia. To be better relations are two countries connected together. It not definite that only 1 person can be change it. If we are having positive thinking about him in a way. However, He is accused of politic in Thailand, so he has escaped to overseas.

          The new IPhone 4G is released and the problems to it has no solution, so Apple convened a press meeting to work out these negative criticisms. If the pressure on this errors and problems continue, there obvious solution is the announcement of a compensation for those who bought it. The device may have the significant loss of signal with the antenna of the phone itself but it is not serious enough to abandon the purchase. For a company that has always been reliability and superior quality of its products. This situation is a serious crisis.

.....In my opinion, although the antenna is bad of signal, but I am sure that many people still want it because I am one of them, and my friends also want to buy it. Now, Apple is going to develop their product to be pleased for customers and appropriate for its prize.

....  I think the government should not ban the Blackberry as not all people will use it for illegal activities, and blackberry company does not support them to use for illegal activities. The government should against only people who use it for illegal activities.

          The Office of Transport and Traffic Policy and Planning suggests the government that they should build a high-speed rail which will be the first rail line in Thailand. The OTTP notes that the minimum money required is 800 billion baht. In 1997, the transport minister has established the construction line from Bangkok to Nakhon Ratchasima, but no government has responded to the plan yet. Then last year, the ministers suggested 4 destinations from Bangkok to access Chiang Mai city, Nong Khai, Chanthaburi and Padang Besar, in Songkhla's Sadao district on the border with Malaysia. Recently, The OTTP study four lines: from Bangkok to Chiang Mai, Nong Khai, Rayong and Hat Yai district in Songkhla. Even though, most of people would like a Rayong line, but Hat Yai line should be more benefit because Hat Yai is a center of commercial in the south.

..... In my opinion,If Thailand has high-speed train.It is a value for environment because many cars will getting down, save energy, not traffic jam, and the air will be good more than now. However,we still wait for the order from authority and I hope Thailand will get a good gift from them

          The situation that occurred in Bangkok for cyclists right now is that there is too little cycling lanes for people who ride bicycle and wishes to exercise. There are only 26 bike lanes across Bangkok and many of them are needed to be restore due to the vehicles blockade and bumps on the lane. No additional bike lanes built in recent years as authorities appeared not to be interested in expanding them. Government agencies should encourage officials and private employees to participate in a campaign of cycling to work, the objectives is that it was healthier and would cut traffic congestion and to promote cycling in Thailand. 

.... I think bicycle is a good thing for people who want to have healthy because it's an exercise but another thing that we wouldn't to realize is if you want to exercise where will you should between ride in the park and ride on the street. So bike lens have a lot of pollution and danger. It is the best choices???

      US President Barack Obama took his daughter Sasha to watch the Washington Mystics defeat the Tulsa Shock 87-62 in a Women's NBA game Sunday with dishonored ex-track star Marion Jones on the losing side. Obama played basketball against a US Army team in the American capital before participating with his daughter and one of her friends in court-side seats at the Verizon Center. Among the shock players was Jones, who was enforced to give back her medals from the 2000 Sydney Olympics after confession that she took performance-enhancing drugs to help her achieved athletic feats. Obama's arrival was greeted with great applause when shown to the crowd on a large scoreboard videoscreen above the court.

I think his performance was good because it can make the president and population are more close up and it shows the love of dad for his daughter even he has to do his job but he can arrange about time to his family very well by took his daughter with him for do any activity and do his job with happy :)
